4 OR 5-Day ORE Part II Manikin Course with Dr. Sandra

Our popular ORE Part II Manikin Course covers the following:

Day 1: Introduction to the Exam, Safe practise (including chair positions), Amalgam exercises Class I and II preparations and restorations

Day 2: Composite Class III , IV, V and Cusp build up.

Day 3: FGC, PFM – anterior and posterior, Labial Veneer – Central incisor and Canine

Day 4: Root canal Treatment, Rest seat preparation, Recording an Impression, Temporary Crown Fabrication, Lab card

-Optional- Day 5: Revision Day. Use this day to practice the classes you have learnt over the last 4-Days!

On Days 1 – 4, the course tutor will provide each candidate with written feedback for each of the above exercises.

The course covers complete GDC manikin guidelines for the ORE II exam. Each exercise fully explained with presentation and live demonstrations followed by ample time for hands-on practise. Tutorial handout is provided to each participating candidate.

It is essential that candidates read and study the GDC ORE II Manikin guidelines. It will also be beneficial if you are able to practise simple cutting on model teeth to gain handpiece control prior to attending the course.

Our Advice:

• After completing your course, you are expected to keep practicing at home. Make sure to practice for at least 3 hours per session.
• Allow ample time to practice before booking your exam. We recommend, on average, 4 months practice time before taking the exam.
• We also strongly emphasise that candidates use genuine exam models and teeth, purchased from genuine suppliers. This will greatly enhance your preparation. 
• Make your first attempt count!

Lunch is provided as complementary. If you have certain food allergies and special dietary needs, as we source the food from other providers, you may have to bring your own lunches.

Taxi service will not be provided for this class, you must make your own travel arrangements to and from the course venue. Free Car Parking is available for those who drive. If you are coming by Train, please arrive at Woking train Station and book yourself a taxi to the course venue either using Uber, or with the Taxi’s available at the Train Station.

Endo teeth, instruments, materials, and full use of the facility equipment are included. This course attracts 6 verifiable CPD hours per Day.
